My expertise is rooted in a life lived across continents. I was raised on the small, resilient family farm in Moldova, where my parents still work the land—a firsthand education in Eastern European agricultural heritage and its deep connection to place.

My academic studies in Western Europe revealed stark contrasts in scale and innovation, while my last decade working across Eastern Africa uncovered a profound, and often overlooked, truth: surprising cultural and philosophical similarities exist between the farmers of Eastern Europe and East Africa. This unique perspective—forged from the frozen landscapes of Siberia to the vibrant ecosystems of Kenya—allows me to see bridges where others see barriers.
